The subjects of chapter 29 are these: He who is reproved often but hardens his neck will suddenly be destroyed (shattered), and that without remedy (1). When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn (2). The one who loves wisdom causes his father to rejoice; but he who keeps company with harlots squanders his wealth (3). The king by judgment establishes the land; but he that receives gifts overthrow it (4). A man that flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet (5). In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare' but the righteous sing and rejoice (6). The righteous consider the cause of the poor; but the wicked do not understand such knowledge (7). Scornful men bring a city into a snare; but wise men turn away wrath (8). If a wise man judges a foolish man, the fool rages or laughs, without rest (9). The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just watch over the soul of the upright (10). A fool utters all his mind, but a wise man keeps it in till afterward (11). If a ruler hearkens to lies, all of his servants are wicked (12). The poor man and the deceitful man meet together; the LORD gives light to both of their eyes (13). If a king faithfully judges the poor, his throne shall be established for ever (14). The rod and reproof give wisdom; but a child left to himself brings his mother to shame (15). When the wicked multiply, transgression increases; but the righteous shall see them fall (16). Correct your son, and he shall give you rest; indeed, he shall give delight to your soul (17). Where there is no revelation the people perish; but the one who keeps the law is blessed (18). A servant will not be corrected by words; for though he understands he will not answer (19). Do you see a man who is hasty in his words; there is more hope of a fool than of him (20). He who brings up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at last (21). An angry man stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgression (22). A man's pride will bring him low; but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit (23). Anyone who is partner with a thief hates his own soul; he hears cursing and does not disclose it (24) . The fear of man brings a snore; but the one who puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe (25). Many seek the ruler's favor; but justice comes from the LORD for every man (26). An unjust man is an abomination to the just; and he who is upright in his path is an abomination to the wicked (27).

COLLECTION 2 OF 2
PROVERBS OF SOLOMON & THE WISE (HEZEKIAH'S COLLECTION)
Proverbs 25-31.

Proverbs 29
He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
The bloodthirsty [ men of blood] hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from the LORD.
An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
