Explanation: On Thursday of the Passion Week Jesus sent Peter and John to make arrangements to eat the Passover meal in a large upper room in Jerusalem. By his supernatural insight, he showed them how to find the room. They were to follow a man bearing a pitcher and tell the master of the house he entered to make the room ready.

     ^{Luke 22:7} Then came the [^{Mark 14:12a} first] day of [^{Matthew 26:17a} the feast of] unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. ^{Mark 14:12b} His disciples [^{Matthew 26:17b} came to Jesus, saying unto him], Where will you that we go and prepare that you may eat the passover? ^{Mark 14:13a} And he sent forth two of his disciples, [^{Luke 22:8a} Peter and John,] and said unto them, ^{Luke 22:8b} Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. ^{Luke 22:9} And they said unto him, Where will you that we prepare? ^{Luke 22:10a} And he said unto them, ^{Matthew 26:18a} Go into the city to such a man, and [^{Luke 22:10b} behold, when you are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he enters in.] ^{Mark 14:14} And wheresoever he shall go in, say you to the goodman of the house, ^{Matthew 26:18b} The Master says, [^{Luke 22:11b} unto you,] My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with my disciples. ^{Luke 22:11c} Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? ^{Mark 14:15} And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. ^{Mark 14:16} And his disciples went forth, [^{Matthew 26:19} (and) did as Jesus had appointed them], and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
